Heavy Driver (Male)

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Driver to join our team in Erode. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of driving experience and will hold at least a 10th-grade education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive Heavy Vehicles: Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport goods or materials to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.

- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. This includes checking oil levels, brakes, and tire pressure.

- Follow Traffic Rules: Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies to ensure safety on the road and at delivery sites.

- Load and Unload Cargo: Assist in loading and unloading cargo as necessary, ensuring that all items are secure and properly handled to prevent damage.

- Complete Delivery Documentation: Accurately fill out delivery logs and required paperwork for each trip to ensure accountability and tracking.

- Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules, routes, and any road issues encountered.

Required Skills and Expectations:

Candidates must have a valid heavy vehicle driving license and a clean driving record. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance is essential for keeping the vehicle in good condition. Applicants should possess strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations on the road. Efficiency and time management are crucial for meeting delivery deadlines.
