Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Training:
Supervise, train, and evaluate ground staff (check-in, gate agents, baggage handlers).
Conduct daily briefings and debriefings.
Provide on-the-job training and coaching.
Passenger & Security Management:
Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols.
Handle complex passenger issues like delays, cancellations, and lost luggage.
Oversee orderly boarding, document verification, and special assistance.
Operational Oversight:
Coordinate ramp activities, including aircraft marshalling and ground power.
Monitor baggage handling, loading, and tracing.
Ensure timely completion of flight-related tasks (check-in, boarding, flight closure).
Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare and verify reports, incident logs, and statistics.
Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
Inter-departmental Coordination:
Liaise with other airport departments, airlines, ATC, security, and customs.
