Key Responsibilities
Passenger Handling: Greeting passengers, verifying passports/visas, issuing boarding passes, and managing boarding/deplaning.
Customer Service: Answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors.
Check-in & Baggage: Manning check-in counters, tagging luggage, and coordinating with ramp staff for baggage loading.
Safety & Security: Ensuring compliance with security protocols and guiding passengers during emergencies.
Flight Operations: Coordinating with flight crew to ensure on-time departures
Requirements & Skills
Education: A diploma or degree is often required for freshers.
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility: Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights.
Physical: Often requires a neat appearance (no visible tattoos).
Other: Knowledge of airport security protocols and, in some cases, a valid passport.
