Key duties include assisting passengers with check-in and boarding, managing baggage, handling tickets, providing information, and assisting special needs passengers, all while acting as airline ambassadors.
Key Responsibilities
Passenger Handling: Welcoming passengers, checking travel documents (passports, IDs), issuing boarding passes, and directing passengers to departure gates.
Customer Service: Answering queries, assisting with flight delays or cancellations, and providing information about flight schedules.
Special Assistance: Assisting passengers with limited mobility, elderly passengers, and unaccompanied minors.
Baggage Management: Handling baggage checks, tagging luggage, and addressing lost or damaged luggage issues.
Safety & Security: Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, performing security screenings, and assisting in emergency situations.
Gate Duties: Manning boarding gates and ensuring smooth boarding processes.
Requirements & Skills
Education: Typically a high school diploma or equivalent (10+2), with a diploma in aviation or hospitality being an advantage.
Appearance: Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
Communication: Excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
Personality: Patient, friendly, service-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Technical: Basic computer literacy (knowledge of airline ticketing systems like Amadeus or Sabre is a plus).
