Responsibilities include passenger check-in, baggage sorting, aircraft cleaning, fueling, ramp services (loading/unloading), and aircraft marshalling. They work in fast-paced terminal and apron environments, ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Passenger Services: Checking in passengers, issuing boarding passes, handling luggage, answering queries, and assisting passengers with special needs.
Ramp & Operations: Guiding aircraft to parking bays (marshalling), loading/unloading cargo and baggage, operating belt loaders, and managing aircraft cleaning.
Technical Assistance: Refueling/defueling aircraft, providing pushback and towing services, and operating ground support equipment.
Safety & Security: Monitoring airport areas, screening baggage, complying with safety regulations, and reporting suspicious behavior.
Documentation: Preparing flight plans, load sheets, and documentation for cabin crew
Requirements & Skills:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work long hours standing.
Valid driver’s license (often required for ramp roles).
Compliance with safety training, including dangerous goods handling.
Typical Working Environment:
Shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Both airside (ramp/tarmac) and inside the airport terminal.
