key responsibilities:
responsible for leveraging the full capabilities of the mcleod tms to optimize transportation logistics, improve operational efficiency, and support business processes for a carrier, brokerage, or logistics service provider.
this role requires a deep understanding of mcleod's software suite, including modules like loadmaster, as well as hands-on experience in transportation and supply chain operations.
the ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (sme) for all functional aspects of the system.
system configuration and management:
configure and maintain mcleod tms settings and modules to align with business requirements for dispatch, accounting, driver management, and reporting.
business process analysis:
analyze existing transportation business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation using mcleod tms features.
requirement gathering:
work with internal stakeholders (., dispatchers, accounting, sales) to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system enhancements.
implementation support:
assist in the implementation and deployment of mcleod solutions, including participating in user acceptance testing, developing test cases, and managing change.
