AGPHR looking for a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Manager – Front End to oversee daily operations at the front end of the store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing cashier teams, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting store performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead front-end team members including cashiers, customer service representatives, and greeters.
Ensure high standards of customer service and handle escalated customer queries or complaints efficiently.
Monitor and maintain smooth and efficient checkout operations.
Train and mentor front-end staff on POS systems, customer service protocols, and store policies.
Maintain proper cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily cash reconciliations.
Ensure proper staffing schedules to meet peak and off-peak hours.
Collaborate with other departments (inventory, merchandising, etc.) to maintain seamless operations.
Analyze and report on front-end performance metrics, customer feedback, and areas for improvement.
Support management in implementing company policies, promotions, and visual merchandising at the front end.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
3–7 years of experience in retail operations or customer service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in POS systems, MS Office, and retail management software.
Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and maintain a positive customer-centric attitude.
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
