Fitter - Full Time Fresher

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Assembly & Installation

Assemble, install, and align mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, gears, pumps, valves, and structures

Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

Perform fitting, fastening, and joining operations using bolts, rivets, welding, or adhesives

Maintenance & Repair

Inspect machinery to diagnose faults and wear

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance

Replace defective parts and ensure proper functioning of equipment

Perform alignment, leveling, and balancing of mechanical systems

Tools & Equipment Handling

Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and workshop machinery safely and accurately

Operate cutting, grinding, drilling, and shaping equipment

Maintain tools and ensure they are in good working condition

Quality & Safety

Ensure work complies with quality standards and tolerances

Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Report unsafe conditions, defects, or incidents promptly

Documentation & Coordination

Maintain maintenance and repair records

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians

Assist in installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities
