Job Description

hiring for fire & security officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets. this role involves monitoring security systems, conducting inspections, and responding to incidents, as well as ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

responsibilities

monitor and maintain security systems and equipment, including cctv, alarms, and access control systems.

conduct regular security audits and inspections to identify vulnerabilities.

respond to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies in a timely manner.

assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and policies.

coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

conduct training sessions for staff on fire safety and emergency response procedures.

ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.

skills and qualifications

3-5 years of experience in fire and security management or related fields.

ex-servicemen from army / navy / air force / paramilitary (nco or commissioned officer level)

trained and experienced in fire safety, security management, and relevant safety norms

responsible for overseeing fire prevention systems, safety protocols, and security arrangements during plant setup

knowledge of fire safety regulations, emergency response procedures, and security protocols.

experience with surveillance systems, access control, and alarm systems.

strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

ability to work independently and as part of a team.

relevant certifications in fire safety and security management (., nfpa, psara) are preferred.
