Job Description

* to sales of medical diagnostics instruments, reagents & consumables to hospitals,

nursing homes, pathology labs, icus, government and municipal corporation hospitals.

* listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions to make a sale.

* maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via

telephone calls and emails to generate new business.

* cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.

* negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.

* negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.

* representing the organization trade exhibitions, events and demonstration.

* advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.

* achieve discussed sales targets (monthly/yearly)

* having work experience in diagnostic industries for at least 2 years.

* experience require in diagnostics field, icu & iccu product range and instruments.

* ready to travel.

* candidates having work experience in a pharmaceutical company as medical representative can also apply.

* minimum contract length: 24 months

the candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. by using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

key responsibilities

1. to sales of lab diagnostics instruments, reagents & consumables to hospitals, nursing homes, pathology laboratories, pharma companies, icus & government & semi government institutes.

2. to understand customer`s requirements and provide appropriate solutions to make a sale

3. meet and exceed monthly & yearly sales targets

4. maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails to generate new business.

5. successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts.

6. cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.

7. representing the organization in trade exhibitions, events and demonstration.

8. manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives.

9. build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers.

10. open to travel.

11. daily/weekly/monthly reporting.

qualifications

• 1-2 years' work experience in diagnostic or pharma industry

• demonstrable track record of achieving targets

• good written and verbal communication skills

• minimum contract terms - 2 years
