Our client in Nairobi, Kenya is seeking an Expatriate Melter for their steel mill.

Job Summary: Operate electric induction furnaces for melting and pouring metal.

Duties:

• Weigh and charge metal into furnace.

• Control furnace temperature.

• Pour molten metal into ladle.

• Record melt operations.

• Maintain safety standards.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Previous induction melting experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence.
