Job Description

 monitor and take actions to ensure etp levels as per norms

o to maintain etp protocol per product

o to monitor the daily quality and quantity of effluent

o to take corrective action where required

o to run the etp in co-ordination with the production department

o to research and update systems to manage higher quality of effluent discharge+d3

o to research on ways to reduce effluent in production

o to ensure dryness of storm water drains

o to approve the decontamination process

 responsible for compliance and audits in etp

o to ensure compliance to green belt norms

o to ensure iso compliance

o to ensure air quality, water quality, noise level of periphery and workplace are within

limits

o to ensure compliance with water intake norms

o to manage appcb audits

o to ensure submission of the following reports to appcb

o water cess report

o gps systems report

o hazardous waste generation report

o annual hazardous waste generation report

o environment statement

o other reports that may be required

 responsible for coordination of disposal of hazardous waste

o to obtain transportation permission for disposal of waste

o to ensure proper packing of waste

o to send manifests to appcb and co-ordinate with cwmp for disposal

o to research ways to minimize hazardous waste

 responsible for coordination and disposal of solid waste.

o responsible to arrange vehicles for solid waste.

o to check and renew appcb consent of the transporter

o to audit the condition of the transport vehicle

 responsible for managing accidents related to storms and spillage

o to ensure storm water is collected in the etp

o to treat storm water post an accident

 create methods to reduce costs for treatment and disposal of waste

o to identify ways to reduce waste per quantity of production

o to research on new practices of effluent management
