Networking Engineer & System Administrator

responsibilities:**

- design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

- install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.

- monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.

- perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to maintain security and data integrity.

- collaborate with the it team to develop and implement network and system policies, procedures, and documentation.

- provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.

- evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network and system performance.

- ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

**requirements:**

- proven experience as a networking & system engineer or similar role.

- strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.

- proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (., cisco, juniper).

- experience with server administration (windows, linux) and virtualization technologies (., vmware, hyper-v).

- familiarity with cloud platforms (., aws, azure) and hybrid cloud environments.

- solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

- excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

- relevant certifications (., ccna, comptia network+, mcse) are a plus.

**preferred skills:**

- experience with network monitoring and management tools (., nagios, solarwinds).

- knowledge of scripting languages (., python, powershell) for automation.

- familiarity with itil framework and service management practices.

- experience with disaster recovery planning
