we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced consultant endocrinologist to join our reputable healthcare facility in doha, qatar. the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in government or institutional settings, with a strong preference for candidates of indian nationality, particularly from south india. this role offers an attractive salary package with significant incentives based on procedural and diagnostic performance.

key responsibilities:

1. patient care & diagnosis:

o provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic and hormonal imbalances.

o conduct thorough clinical evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment plans tailored to individual patients.

o perform and interpret lab investigations and advanced diagnostic procedures in endocrinology.

2. procedural & clinical excellence:

o administer procedures related to endocrinology, such as thyroid biopsies, dynamic hormone tests, and diabetic foot management.

o prescribe medications, hormone replacement therapies, and nutritional plans as needed.

3. team collaboration:

o work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care physicians, dietitians, and nurses, to ensure holistic patient management.

o provide guidance to junior medical staff, residents, and support staff in the management of complex endocrine cases.

4. patient education & counseling:

o educate patients and their families on endocrine disorders, management strategies, and preventive care.

o conduct follow-ups to monitor treatment efficacy and adjust therapies as required.

5. administrative duties:

o maintain detailed records of patient histories, treatment plans, and procedural outcomes.

o contribute to the improvement of departmental protocols and clinical guidelines.
