Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Perform routine preventive maintenance on electronic systems and equipment
Diagnose and repair electronic faults to minimize downtime
Maintain maintenance schedules and service records
Troubleshooting & Repair
Identify and troubleshoot faults in electronic circuits, control systems, and PLC-based equipment
Repair or replace faulty components such as sensors, drives, PCBs, and controllers
Use diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
Automation & Control Systems
Maintain and support automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS)
Modify control programs as required for process improvements
Ensure proper functioning of instrumentation and control panels
Equipment Installation & Commissioning
Install, test, and commission new electronic equipment and systems
Configure hardware and software settings according to specifications
Support upgrades and retrofitting of existing systems
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain technical documentation, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Record maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and root cause analysis (RCA)
Prepare maintenance and performance reports
Safety & Compliance
Follow electrical and electronic safety standards and procedures
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Participate in safety audits and risk assessments
Spare Parts & Inventory Management
Identify critical spare parts and maintain inventory levels
Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of components
Evaluate spare part usage and recommend optimization
Continuous Improvement
Analyze recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
Implement reliability improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Support energy efficiency and automation enhancement projects
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with mechanical, production, and IT teams
Provide technical support during plant shutdowns and emergencies
Train operators and junior technicians on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Coordinate with equipment vendors and service providers
Supervise external contractors during maintenance and repair activities
Review vendor documentation and service quality
