Key Responsibilities
Installation & Wiring: Lay out, assemble, install, and test electrical wiring, fixtures, control apparatus, and related equipment.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical panels, motors, generators, and factory machinery to minimize breakdown time.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment (multimeters, clamp meters) to locate the root cause of a breakdown.
Blueprints & Schematics: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, circuit diagrams, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical specifications.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with local safety codes and factory regulations. Maintain proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
Documentation: Maintain logs of daily maintenance tasks, breakdown histories, and parts used or required for inventory.
