the 2d echo technician is responsible for performing echocardiography and doppler studies to assess cardiac function and structure. the role involves acquiring high-quality cardiac images, assisting cardiologists during procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and generating accurate diagnostic reports.

key responsibilities:

perform 2d echocardiography, doppler studies, and related cardiac imaging procedures.

acquire, analyze, and document high-quality cardiac images for diagnosis.

assist cardiologists during echocardiography procedures and interventional diagnostics.

ensure proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of echo equipment.

monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.

maintain detailed and accurate records of studies and reports.

adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards.

stay updated on advancements in echocardiography techniques and technology.

qualification & experience:

diploma/certificate in echocardiography, cardiac technology, or related allied health field.

. in medical imaging / cardiac care technology (preferred).

0–2 years experience in echocardiography preferred; freshers with training can apply.

knowledge of cardiac anatomy, doppler studies, and patient care protocols.
