Job Summary

Our client, a leading real estate developer in Mumbai, is seeking an experienced Senior Draftsman to lead the creation of detailed technical drawings and plans for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely completion, while also mentoring junior drafters.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Drafting: Oversee and lead the drafting team in the creation of detailed technical drawings and plans.

Drawing Creation: Develop precise and accurate drawings for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects.

Design Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design consistency and adherence to project specifications.

Technical Skills: Utilize advanced drafting software and tools to produce high-quality drawings.

Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior drafters, fostering their professional growth and development.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Project Management: Manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivery.

Requirements

Diploma in Civil/Architectural Drafting or an equivalent qualification.

10-12 years of experience in drafting within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering industry.

Proficiency in drafting software (., AutoCAD, Revit).

Strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Familiarity with construction laws, rules, and regulations in Mumbai/India.
