key responsibilities and duties
the role involves a mix of creative strategy, campaign execution, and performance analysis across key digital platforms:
i. campaign execution & management
paid media (ppc/sem): plan, create, and manage effective pay-per-click (ppc) campaigns on platforms like google ads, meta ads (facebook/instagram), and linkedin, focusing on keyword research, ad copy creation, budget management, and continuous optimization for high roi and roas (return on ad spend).
search engine optimization (seo): conduct keyword research, perform on-page and off-page optimization, manage link building strategies, and monitor website ranking to drive organic (unpaid) traffic.
social media marketing (smm): develop, manage, and execute the social media content calendar and strategy across relevant platforms, including content creation, scheduling posts, and community engagement.
email marketing: plan and execute targeted email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, a/b testing, and performance analysis, often using platforms like mailchimp or hubspot.
ii. content & website management
content creation: write clear, persuasive, and seo-friendly copy for website pages, blogs, social media posts, and advertising materials.
web management: update and maintain website content (text, images, products) using a content management system (cms) like wordpress or shopify.
collaboration: work closely with graphic designers and web developers to create compelling digital assets and improve user experience (ux) and conversion rate optimization (cro).
iii. analytics and reporting
performance monitoring: utilize analytics tools, primarily google analytics (ga4) and google search console, to monitor key performance indicators (kpis) such as website traffic, conversion rates, click-through rates (ctr), and cost per acquisition (cpa).
reporting: prepare accurate, detailed performance reports on all digital marketing campaigns and present actionable insights and recommendations to management.
market intelligence: stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
