Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Generator Mechanic to handle the installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generator sets.

Key Responsibilities

. Perform routine and preventive maintenance of diesel generators.

. Inspect engines, alternators, batteries, fuel systems, and cooling systems.

. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

. Troubleshoot generator starting, overheating, and performance issues.

. Replace faulty parts, filters, belts, hoses, batteries, and other components.

. Check engine oil, coolant, fuel, and battery levels.

. Perform generator testing and operational checks.

. Attend emergency breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs.

. Maintain service reports and maintenance records.

.Follow all safety procedures while working on DG sets.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of diesel engines and DG sets.

Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Basic electrical knowledge.

Preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good safety awareness.
