As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting patients undergoing dialysis treatments. Your primary duties will include:

- Preparing Dialysis Equipment: Set up and maintain dialysis machines, ensuring they are ready for patient use according to safety standards.

- Monitoring Patients: Observe patients during dialysis sessions for any signs of discomfort or complications, providing timely assistance as needed.

- Assisting with Treatments: Help in the connection and disconnection of patients to the dialysis machines under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

- Maintaining Records: Document patient information and treatment details accurately, ensuring that all records are kept up-to-date for effective patient care.

- Sterilizing Equipment: Ensure all equipment and surfaces are cleaned and sterilized according to protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.

- Providing Support: Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families about the dialysis process and self-care post-treatment.

Candidates should possess a degree preferably in a health-related field. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
