Key Responsibilities

🎨 Conceptualization & Prototyping

Design Strategy: Develop high-level design concepts based on client requirements or market research.

3D Modeling & Rendering: Create complex 3D models and high-quality renderings for client presentations and internal approvals.

Prototyping: Oversee the creation of physical or digital prototypes to test form, fit, and function before mass production.

🛠️ Technical Engineering & Documentation

Detailed Engineering: Create precise 2D technical drawings, including Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and manufacturing specifications.

GD&T Application: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to ensure parts fit together perfectly during assembly.

DFM/DFA: Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to reduce production costs and time.

🤝 Project Leadership & Collaboration

Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate with the Production Manager and Quality Engineer to ensure the design can be manufactured within the plant's capabilities.

Vendor Coordination: Work with external toolmakers or material suppliers to ensure design specifications are met.

Mentorship: Guide junior design executives and draftsmen on software best practices and design standards.
