domain proficiency: - automotive with product understanding knowledge.

process proficiency: - basic knowledge of the manufacturing process.

software proficiency: - catia v5 (part design, generative shape design (gsd) & drafting).

design proficiency: - modelling - solid, sheet metal, plastic, gd&t & stack up analysis.

core proficiency: -

o strong knowledge of engineering and design principles

o collaborating with engineering and design teams to develop accurate and precise drawings that meet project specifications and requirements.

o reviewing and interpreting project documents, such as drawings and engineering specifications, to ensure compliance with design standards and regulations.

o good knowledge of design of automotive systems including mechanical & electro-mechanical systems.

o skills on reverse engineering & benchmarking the product & concept.

o concept developing and designing the products and systems based on customer requirements and industry standards.

o maintaining specifications, and drawings as per technical manuals.

o conducting the feasibility and viability of the design ideas with the manufacturing team.

o troubleshooting design-related issues and making necessary changes.

o collaborating with core departments to discuss the manufacturability of the product designs & risk assessments to be recorded.

o maintaining design change record till final design release.

preferred skills: -

o additional experience with other cad software such as nx or creo.

o background from nttf (nettur technical training foundation).
