Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Site Assessment and Analysis: Conduct site inspections to assess solar potential, shading, roof/ground conditions, and electrical infrastructure.

System Design: Develop detailed solar system designs, including panel layout, inverter selection, electrical schematics, and structural engineering requirements.

Software Proficiency: Utilize specialized software for solar system modeling, simulation, and design (., PVSyst , SketchUp).

Performance Analysis: Conduct energy yield calculations, financial modeling, and system performance simulations.

Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including system specifications, drawings, and permits.

Project Management and CEI approvals : Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution and coordinate for CEI documentation and other processes.

Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to sales, installation, and operations teams.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest solar technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

QC : Establish & Conduct QA/QC of thermography data and design data generated from internal teams.
