• education- be mechanical

• design, analyze, and evaluate products or components, requiring 2-d and 3-d models of components and assemblies for prototype, production and retrofit builds, using creo

• prepare technical documentation in clear and concise terms in accordance with good engineering practice.

• works closely with operations, manufacturing and production engineers to ensure products are designed for manufacture

• keeps up to date with the latest design & manufacturing techniques and drawing standards

• bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering discipline

• expertise in functional pdm/plm process like engineering change management, engineering/manufacturing/variant bom and document management

• proficiency in gd&t, 2d drawings, 3d model creation, engineering model conversion, generation of part and assembly drawings and bills of materials.

• ability to understand concepts & produce technical drawings to allow manufacture or purchase

• sheet metal manufacturing & modeling is mandatory
