To design, develop, and support material handling equipment such as drum tilters, drum trolleys, tackles, tumblers, lifters, and special-purpose handling equipment, ensuring safe, economical, and manufacturable solutions in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Engineering
€¢ Design material handling equipment (drum tilter, trolley, tumbler, lifter, tackle, fixtures, etc.)
€¢ Prepare 2D drawings (GA, fabrication, machining, assembly)
€¢ Develop 3D models and assemblies
€¢ Prepare BOM with proper part numbers
€¢ Conduct interference and fitment checks
€¢ Support prototype development and design improvements
Design Calculations
€¢ Load calculations (static & dynamic)
€¢ Stability and tipping calculations
€¢ Selection of shafts, pins, bearings, wheels
€¢ Hydraulic cylinder and power pack calculations (where applicable)
€¢ Factor of Safety and basic hand calculations
€¢ Documentation of calculation sheets for internal / client use
