Data Modeller (7–10 Years Experience)

core responsibilities

 design and implement data models: develop, maintain, and optimize conceptual,

logical, and physical data models for oltp, olap, data warehouses, and data lakes.

 multi-cloud data architecture: design and implement models optimized for aws,

azure, and gcp ensuring portability and compliance.

 data governance and standards: define and enforce modeling standards, naming

conventions, and best practices.

 system integration: collaborate with architects and engineers to translate business

requirements into efficient data structures.

 performance optimization: analyze and optimize databases and data warehouses for

performance and scalability.

technical expertise

 advanced data modeling: expertise in 3nf, dimensional modeling (star/snowflake),

and data vault .

 modeling tools: proficient in er/studio, erwin, dbschema, or toad data modeler.

 database technologies: strong sql with postgresql, oracle, sql server, mongodb,

cassandra.

 cloud data services: experience with aws (redshift, rds, dynamodb), azure (synapse,

sql db, adls), gcp (bigquery, cloud sql).

 big data concepts: knowledge of hadoop and spark for distributed data modeling.

collaboration & leadership

 mentorship: guide junior data professionals on sql and cloud practices.

 stakeholder communication: present complex models to technical and non-technical

teams.

 project leadership: lead data modeling efforts for transformation projects.

 continuous improvement: stay updated with data modeling and multi-cloud trends.
