develop security policies: design and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the organization's digital assets.

. monitor security threats: regularly monitor network traffic, endpoints, and systems for potential security threats.

. incident response: respond to, investigate, and manage cybersecurity incidents, providing immediate solutions to mitigate damage.

. network security: implement and manage security solutions such as firewalls, vpns, ids/ips, and encryption technologies.

. vulnerability assessment: conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses and improve system defenses.

. compliance: ensure all security measures comply with relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices (., gdpr, iso ).

. security training: provide training to staff and other stakeholders on security best practices and policies.

. collaboration: work closely with other it and operations teams to ensure all systems and applications are secure.

. reporting: generate reports detailing security threats, incidents, and overall risk status for management.

working conditions:

- full-time position, typically monday through friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

- primarily office-based with possible remote work.

- occasional on-call availability for urgent security incidents.
