main responsibilities
• to develop daily teaching plans, teaching aids etc
• to create activities and worksheets
• to create workbooks, manuals, modules
• assists in establishing system-wide curricular objectives for early childhood education; develops plans for implementation and evaluation; initiates, designs and implements programs to meet system-wide goals.
• works with centre coordinators and teachers to ensure programs are implemented at each school.
• to be in sync with the organisation’s vision and direction.
• aware of age-appropriate skills and concepts in visual arts and capable of mapping them to the curriculum.
• development of early childhood education programs.
• develops strategies for improvement; coordinates and conducts mandatory in-service training
• makes recommendations for professional development opportunities.
• supervise, train and mentor the teachers in order to ensure the most effective use of the curriculum and learning resources.
• provide academic support to all the pre schools in the assigned region in terms of curriculum implementation monitoring and lesson plan approvals,
preferred skills
• excellent communication skills, verbal and written in standard english.
• has excellent writing skills and the ability to create content that meets educational standards.
• experience in curriculum development
• ensures teachers and coordinators are familiar with any changes to the curriculum
• be flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of the overall program.
