1. provide critical care support to patients in the intensive care unit.

2. perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.

3. assist with intubation and ventilator management.

4. administer iv therapy and medication as directed by the healthcare team.

5. monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors.

6. ensure infection control protocols are followed to prevent the spread of pathogens.

7. operate and maintain medical equipment, including defibrillators and ventilators.
