strategic & functional responsibilities
1. vessel & barges operations (mbpt/hazira)
 receive vessels upon intimation and coordinate barges for timely oil transfer.
 follow vessel schedule for grade-wise and quantity-wise segregation of oil.
 transfer oil from vessels into barges according to required grade (ultra 2/3) and
quantity.
 ensure accurate measurement of oil in kl and prevent spillage.
 monitor vessel handling by company representatives for safety and compliance.
2. dock loading point operations
 ensure tankers pass tare weight verification before loading.
 track all barges and vehicles for efficient docking and loading.
 verify tankers are clean, dry, non-rusted, odourless, and painted before loading.
 conduct security checks to prevent pilferage or theft.
 oversee tanker weight monitoring, recording gross, tare, and net weights.
 manage filling operations, sealing, and weighbridge calibration.
 coordinate with surveyors and insurance to validate documents and authorize
dispatch.
 track tankers to assigned plant locations and ensure timely delivery.
 manage entry and exit procedures for all tankers at weighbridge checkpoints.
3. general administration & documentation
 maintain records of delivery challans, invoices, b/l copies, and transport
documents.
 support office administration and dock documentation duties.
 perform outdoor activities such as bank visits and document submissions.
 collect samples or documents from plants, customs, insurance, or client companies
as required.
