1. Culinary Expertise:

Proven experience as a Cook specializing in Indian cuisine.

Proficiency in preparing a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori, biryanis, and other regional specialties.

Knowledge of various Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients.

Ability to create visually appealing and delicious dishes while maintaining consistent quality.

2. Food Safety and Hygiene:

Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.

Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area and adherence to health regulations.

Proper handling and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.

3. Menu Development:

Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update Indian menu items.

Suggest innovative ideas for new dishes and variations to enhance the menu.

4. Attention to Detail:

Pay meticulous attention to presentation, portion sizes, and plating.

Ensure that all dishes meet established quality standards.

5. Time Management:

Efficiently manage cooking times to meet service requirements and maintain a smooth kitchen operation.

6. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service.

Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed.

7. Adaptability:

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak service hours.

Willingness to adapt to changes in menu offerings and kitchen procedures.
