Job Brief

Content Writer’s responsibilities include conducting research, generating ideas for new content and

proofreading articles/ other form of content before posting. If you’re familiar with producing online

content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or

portfolio of your published articles during the interview

Your role in DEMOS:

Research and write clear copy for promotion

ï‚· Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems

ï‚· Proofread and edit blog posts before posting

ï‚· Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles

ï‚· Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic

ï‚· Promote content on social media

ï‚· Ensure all-round consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)

What does DEMOS need:

ï‚· Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role

ï‚· Experience doing research using multiple sources

ï‚· Familiarity with web publications

ï‚· Excellent writing and editing skills in Tamil and English

ï‚· Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (. WordPress)

ï‚· Ability to meet deadlines

ï‚· BSc in Marketing, Tamil, Journalism or related field
