we are seeking a highly skilled consultant urologist with expertise in laparoscopic and cystoscopic procedures to join our esteemed healthcare facility in doha, qatar. the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience, with a strong preference for candidates of indian nationality, particularly from south india. this role offers a competitive salary along with substantial incentives for procedural and diagnostic services.

key responsibilities:

1. surgical expertise:

o perform advanced urological surgeries, including laparoscopic procedures (., nephrectomy, prostatectomy) and cystoscopic interventions.

o conduct minimally invasive procedures for conditions like kidney stones, bladder tumors, and urethral strictures.

o provide surgical and non-surgical management of prostate, bladder, kidney, and ureteral conditions.

2. patient diagnosis & treatment:

o assess, diagnose, and manage patients with urological disorders, including urinary tract infections, incontinence, and male reproductive issues.

o develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating both surgical and conservative management strategies.

o conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasound, ct scans, and laboratory investigations.

3. pre- and post-operative care:

o guide patients through pre-operative preparations and post-operative recovery, ensuring optimal outcomes.

o provide follow-up care, including monitoring of recovery and rehabilitation.

4. collaboration & teamwork:

o work closely with other medical professionals, including nephrologists, radiologists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

o participate in case discussions, clinical audits, and departmental meetings to improve patient outcomes.

5. documentation & compliance:

o maintain detailed records of patient histories, surgical procedures, and follow-up care.
