Consultant Ophthalmologist - Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Medical Retina Consultant to join our medical team in Dehradun, Uttarakhand India. In this full-time role, you will provide comprehensive eye care and lead treatments for various ophthalmic conditions.

The Consultant in Medical Retina will independently diagnose, manage, and treat a comprehensive range of vitreo-retinal disorders. This role demands high proficiency in advanced ocular imaging, precise laser photocoagulation, and intravitreal therapeutic interventions to deliver exceptional patient-centric Responsibilities1. Clinical Care & Disease ManagementDiagnose and manage complex retinal pathologies, including Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Vein Occlusions (RVO), and Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD).Formulate evidence-based treatment plans tailored to chronic and progressive retinal ide confident clinical decision-making and comprehensive longitudinal patient . Advanced Diagnostics & ImagingPerform and accurately interpret high-resolution diagnostic modalities: Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and B-Scan uct and analyze specialized angiographies: Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA) and Indocyanine Green Angiography (ICGA).Utilize imaging data to precisely monitor disease progression and treatment . Retinal Procedures & InterventionsAdminister intravitreal injections (Anti-VEGF therapies and corticosteroid implants) with strict aseptic orm advanced retinal laser procedures, including Panretinal Photocoagulation (PRP).Execute Laser Indirect Ophthalmoscopy (LIO) procedures Requirements Education & Qualifications Primary Degree: MS (Ophthalmology) or DNB (Ophthalmology) from a recognized medical college.: Successfully completed a formal Fellowship in Medical Retina from a reputed eye nsure: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) or relevant State Medical rience & Skills Experience: 2 to 3 years of post-MS/DNB clinical experience in a dedicated retina department is highly ical Skills: High manual dexterity for micro-procedures and laser Skills: Strong empathetic communication skills to counsel patients regarding chronic vision-threatening conditions.
