- Operating CNC and VMC machines: Responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) and vertical machining center (VMC) machines to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Reading blueprints and technical drawings: Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand the specifications of the parts to be produced.
- Monitoring the machine operations: Monitoring the CNC and VMC machines during operation to ensure they are running smoothly and making any necessary adjustments to ensure quality and precision.
- Inspecting finished products: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications before sending them to the next stage of production or packaging.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment: Keeping the work area clean and organized, following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Expectations:
- Knowledge of CNC machines: Understanding of how CNC machines operate and experience in setting up, programming, and operating them.
- Familiarity with VMC machines: Experience in operating vertical machining center (VMC) machines and knowledge of programming them efficiently.
- Technical education: Minimum education requirement of 12th pass, 10th pass, or . certification to ensure understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
