Closing Supervisor Footwear

• Planning and organising production schedules on the Closing/ Stitching Lines.

• Closely work with Production Manager to understand the customer order and lead the preparation of manpower plan for Closing/ Stitching Lines.

• Assuring material/resources availability for Closing/ Stitching Lines for uninterrupted production as per production Plan.

• Monitor the Production Status regularly and take corrective actions to ensure timely Production.

• Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with production manager and re-negotiating timescales or schedules if there is a deviation.

• Planning and organising the repair and routine maintenance of Closing/ Stitching Lines equipment’s.

• Effective workforce planning for optimum utilization of man-days.

• Define cycle time and manpower requirement for each product category

• Implement strong product mix strategies of production to reduce production cycle time and optimum utilization.

• Drive PM calendar and ensure adherence rigorously for machines servicing without any hampering on production process or shut down or working days.

• Work with purchase and store for better inventory management and ensure minimum WIP has been maintained as per the inventory guideline.

• Work proactively on quality standards to reduce on shop rejection (FTR) and reduce wastages.

• Quality checking of stitching and solution applied by workers and assuring there no damage done to the shoes while stitching.

• Lead problem solving process in order to meet quality targets

• Create awareness among workers, supervisors and vendors on the best quality practices and standards.

• Enforcement and implementation of relevant section in the ISO and Quality Management System.

• Periodically visiting Other Sites of SV industries and Vendors to solve the quality issues and to improve quality of production.
