**job overview:**

the civil engineer is responsible for the construction, and maintenance of industrial, commercial , residential projects, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and meet regulatory standards. this position involves working on large-scale projects that can include roads, bridges, dams, buildings, and utilities, etc

**key responsibilities:**

- *billing and planning:**review blueprints, specifications, and plans for construction projects. ensure that designs adhere to engineering principles, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

- check measurement and contractor bills, prepare bills.

- **project management:** oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

- **site supervision:** to monitor progress, resolve issues, drawing adherence and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

- **analysis:** conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis, assessing environmental impacts, materials, and resources needed for projects.

- **collaboration:** work closely with architects, contractor s, environmental engineers, and other specialists to ensure all aspects of a project are coordinated.

- **report preparation:** prepare detailed reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.

**required qualifications:**

- **education:** bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.

- **experience:** previous 5-8 experience in civil engineering, construction of industrial , commercial, residential projects.

- **skills:**

- strong knowledge of engineering principles and software (., autocad, civil 3d, or similar).

- excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project. **working conditions:**

- typically work on a construction site or in an office setting.

- may require occasional travel to various project sites.

- fieldwork may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and long hours.
