Civil Engineer (Installation & Projects)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee the site assessment and structural integration of our industrial metal detection systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that our equipment is installed on stable foundations, fits seamlessly into client infrastructure, and meets all safety and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Survey & Assessment: Visit client sites (factories, food plants, or mines) to evaluate floor load capacity, space availability, and structural requirements.

Foundation Design: Design and supervise the construction of concrete or metallic bases/platforms required for heavy-duty industrial metal detectors.

Technical Drawings: Prepare and interpret structural layouts and site-specific installation plans using AutoCAD.

Installation Supervision: Lead the on-site installation team to ensure equipment is aligned perfectly and securely fixed to the structure.

Vibration Management: Analyze and mitigate site vibrations that could interfere with the sensitive electronic sensors of the metal detectors.

Coordination: Liaise with the clients engineering department to ensure seamless integration into their existing conveyor or piping systems.

Cost Estimation: Prepare material and labor estimates for foundation work and site modifications.
