- Oversee and lead the medical team: The Chief Medical Officer will be responsible for supervising all medical staff, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to provide high-quality care to patients.
- Develop and implement medical policies and procedures: The CMO will create and enforce protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and effective medical services, in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives: The incumbent will work towards continuously improving the quality of patient care and outcomes, through data analysis, feedback systems, and ongoing evaluation of practices.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders: The CMO will liaise with government agencies, insurers, and other healthcare providers to collaborate on patient care, policy development, and resource allocation.
- Stay current with medical advancements: Keeping abreast of new treatments, technology, and research in the medical field is essential for the CMO to guide the organization's clinical strategy and decision-making.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A medical degree and valid license to practice medicine in Swaziland, Netherlands.
- At least 1-7 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a track record of progressively increasing leadership responsibilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in the field.
