Develop overall organizational finance strategy and development of business plans to ensure financial well-being of the organization.

Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements, managing budgets, forecasts, actuals, and monitoring performance to ensure the financial health and integrity of the company.

Interact with and bring department into line with Board of Directors' plans, initiatives, and recommendations.

Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.

Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.

Select and engage consultants, auditors, and investors. Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and tax department.

Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.

Remain updated on audit best practices as well as state, federal and local laws regarding company operations.

Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for investors and company's board of directors.

Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.

Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.

Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.

Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

Hire, develop and manage accounting directors, managers, and staff. Mentor and develop a team of more than 10 senior managers and/or directors, managing work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.

Work with Human Resources, Legal, and senior management to ensure appropriate legal compliances.
