• develop overall organizational finance strategy and development of business plans to ensure financial well-being of the organization.

• establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements, managing budgets, forecasts, actuals, and monitoring performance to ensure the financial health and integrity of the company.

• interact with and bring department into line with board of directors' plans, initiatives, and recommendations.

• provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.

• explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.

• select and engage consultants, auditors, and investors. serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and tax department.

• review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.

• remain updated on audit best practices as well as state, federal and local laws regarding company operations.

• ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for investors and company's board of directors.

• review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.

• oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.

• manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.

• enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

• hire, develop and manage accounting directors, managers, and staff. mentor and develop a team of more than 10 senior managers and/or directors, managing work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.

• work with human resources, legal, and senior management to ensure appropriate legal compliances.
