Job Description:

- Position: Project Engineer

- Job Location: Goregaon East (Mumbai) Maharashtra

- Qualification: . / B. Tech Chemical Engineering

- Experience: 5- 10 years

Job Description:

- Preparation and Review of PFDs, P&IDs, Line List Plant Layouts, Piping GA & Isometric drawings,

Fabrication drawings and technical specification sheets. Drawing checking & approval as per

requirements.

- Coordinate with Detail engineering consultants for timely deliverables.

- Budget and Cost estimation preparation.

- Generation of Bill of Material as per requirement for plant equipment, piping & structures etc.

- Float inquiry & selection of required material as per process requirements & correspondence

with supplier. Indents, Work orders preparation & finalization with detailed scope & technical

requirements.

- Technical comparison preparation & finalization of the same with the purchasing department.

- Preparation of detailed equipment technical specifications, requisition for purchase, technical bid

analysis, quality assurance plan

- Approving the Equipment fabrication drawings

- Visit the vendor's manufacturing workshops for expediting the manufacturing and follow up with

suppliers for the timely delivery of equipment at the site

- Coordination & Follow-ups with various contract agencies to completion of project work within

Targeted time frame. Attending progress review meetings with contractors

Testing and Commissioning of installed equipment & piping system with the pneumatic test, hydro

test, spark test, trial run, vacuum test etc.

- Participate in the HAZOP study.
