key responsibilities

installation and setup:

mount and position cameras, run and terminate cables, and set up recording devices like dvrs and nvrs.

maintenance and repair:

conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot and repair technical issues, and perform upgrades or replacements of faulty equipment.

system configuration:

configure network settings, program systems to meet client requirements, and ensure all installations comply with safety standards and laws.

client and technical support:

provide technical assistance to clients, train them on system operation, and ensure effective communication with supervisors about project progress and problems.

site assessment:

conduct site surveys to assess security needs and determine the optimal placement of equipment.

documentation:

keep detailed records of installation processes, system configurations, and maintenance activities.

required skills and qualifications

strong technical skills with a good understanding of electronics and electrical systems.

proficiency with various tools, including hand tools and power tools.

ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

basic computer and networking skills are often required.

good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
