We are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Technician to join our team. As a CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to ensure the security and surveillance needs of our clients are met. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of CCTV technology and excellent technical skills.

Responsibilities:

Installation:

Mounting and installing CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and associated equipment.

Configuring cameras and systems for optimal performance.

Running cables and wiring for CCTV systems.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Conducting regular maintenance checks on CCTV systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Diagnosing and repairing any hardware or software issues.

Replacing faulty components or cameras when necessary.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

Conducting system tests to verify camera functionality and image quality.

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.

Documentation:

Maintaining detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Creating reports for clients detailing system performance and recommendations.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing CCTV installations.

Adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents during installations and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or a related field.

Proficiency in CCTV camera installation and configuration.

Familiarity with various CCTV brands and models.

Strong knowledge of networking, IP addressing, and network setup for CCTV systems.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
