Walkin For CCTV Technician Jobs (Freshers)

A CCTV Technician installs, maintains, and repairs video surveillance systems to ensure optimal security. Their responsibilities include conducting site surveys, laying cables, configuring cameras and recording hardware, troubleshooting technical faults, and training end-users on system operations.

Responsibilities

Installation: Perform site surveys to determine optimal camera placement and install various CCTV equipment (., bullet, me, and PTZ cameras).Wiring & Cabling: Run low-voltage cabling infrastructure (., Cat5, Cat6, coaxial) and perform wire terminations and testing.

System Configuration: Set up and configure Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), Network Video Recorders (NVRs), and IP addresses for remote viewing.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronics, electrical wiring, and video surveillance technologies.

Networking: Familiarity with IP addressing, router/switch configurations, and Local Area Networks (LAN).Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose complex issues across both analog and digital/IP systems.

Physical Capability: Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and operate in tight spaces or various weather conditions.
