 Provide efficient patient care and demonstrates regard for the dignity and respect of all the patients and family members as defined in the mission of our Hospital.
 Utilizes equipment and supplies in a safe and prudent manner
 Obtains required patient history and / or consents, reviews for accuracy, completeness and verifies patient identification and information prior to procedure.
 Verifies lab results prior to procedure to determine that the results are within the normal ranges for procedure and that the patient is a candidate for administration of contrast material according to protocol
 Prepare patient for catheterization procedure
 Responsible for cleaning equipment, exam rooms and keeps an orderly work area for improved efficiency.
 Opens sterile packs and prepares instrument table for procedure.
 Assess the patient’s status on arrival and throughout the procedure by demonstrating knowledge of electrocardiographic, hemodynamic, and hematological data
 Assist physician during procedure.
 Observes patient for any complications of procedure.
 Observes all fluid infusion and patency of catheters
