We are seeking a friendly and reliable Restaurant Cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders and payments, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Your role is crucial in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor.

Take customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to input orders and process payments.

Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision and attention to detail.

Provide customers with information about menu items, promotions, and special offers.

Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.

Assist with restocking and replenishing supplies, such as napkins, straws, and condiments.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism.

Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

Follow all restaurant policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards.

Balance cash register at the end of each shift and prepare accurate reports of daily sales.

Uphold a positive and cooperative teamatmosphere.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.

Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle cash and operate cash registers.

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Basic knowledge of food and menu items.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy restaurant environment.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends,andholidays.
