Job description-CAD Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Leading global data storage brand that designs, manufactures, and sells data technology products.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in a semiconductor company in analog CAD related role.

Understand and define design methodologies across all CAD Design automation Custom flow (schematic entry, simulation, layout creation and verification).

Should have developed and supported scripting-based solutions with Python, Tcl, Perl, Skill, or similar scripting languages.

Familiarity with custom digital and analog layout and simulation.

Experience in layout delivery flow different views generation like LIB, LEF, GDS, etc.

Aware of layout techniques to mitigate ESD, latch-up, DRC, ERC and LVS issues.

Knowledge of design for reliability (., EM, IR, self-heating, etc.)

Full familiarity with Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics tools (Virtuoso, Spectre, hspice and Calibre)

Should possess good documentation, communication, and presentation skills.

Experience of working in a multi-site environment.

Responsibilities:

Setup new project scripts and enable revision control.

Install and maintain PDKs received from various foundries.

Candidate will be responsible for all CAD related activities for full custom flow.

Handling assigned tasks independently and pro-actively resolving issues with automation.
