butchery expertise: proficiency in meat cutting techniques, including deboning, portioning, and trimming, with a strong understanding of various cuts and their uses.
culinary education: a culinary degree or formal butchery training is preferred but not mandatory. relevant experience and expertise will also be considered.
knowledge of meat products: familiarity with different types of meat and poultry, including their characteristics, quality standards, and handling requirements.
knife skills: exceptional knife skills and precision in cutting to ensure consistent and high-quality cuts.
cleanliness and hygiene: strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper sanitation, storage, and handling of meat products.
physical stamina: the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy meat cuts and equipment.
customer service: a commitment to providing excellent customer service and meeting customer preferences for specific cuts and quantities.
attention to detail: meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and presentation of meat products.
inventory management: ability to manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders as needed to maintain product availability.
language skills: proficiency in english is preferred, and knowledge of arabic is a plus.
