JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities :

Demonstrate expert knowledge of REVIT MEP software and other

relevant design tools, such as AutoCAD.

Prepare plans, details, and specifications for plumbing, heating, ventilating, air

conditioning, and general piping systems.

Provide technical advice to staff designers, supervisors, inspectors, and

contracting service providers regarding the installation and maintenance of

MEP systems.

Analyse architectural and structural engineering problems, formulate solutions,

and identify potential design issues.

Manage and deliver multiple projects, ensuring proper planning and

organisation.

Review and evaluate the work of consultants, contractors, and others involved in

the project.

Prepare and deliver effective oral presentations as required.

Review contractor's installation method statements and shop

drawings against design drawings for compliance with the design

intent.

Coordinate with structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering

coordination and provide technical clarifications when needed.

Review contractor's material proposals and subcontractor

recommendations from a technical standpoint, advising the Project

Director accordingly.
